Our story
Doctor in Germany (DiG) was founded by Itay Shahar and Mila Alperson with the aim of helping foreign doctors successfully build a medical career in Germany the right way. After having experienced firsthand the struggles and hurdles involved in the process of relocating to a brand new country and launching from scratch a medical career, nowadays they assist their colleagues around the globe to reach their full potential, both personally and professionally, by applying their vast expertise and knowledge.
Dr. Mila Alperson and Dr. Itay Shahar have both been living in Germany for numerous years now and today work in the field of ophthalmology. Apart from helping their patients receive optimal medical care, both are highly passionate about helping foreign colleagues overcome the steps needed to move and integrate in Germany as medical professionals, just like they have.
